    If you’re going from halogen headlights to led, you need the harness.

    Thanks for the info I appreciate it.

    A couple questions;

    This harness will allow me to step up to LED,'s and I'm curious if there is a preference from this group one way or another on what the best upgrade is for enhanced lighting;

    I did look at the Morimoto. It's about $1,400. Upgrading to TRD PRO lights I believe are about $600 to $700.

    In a side by side comparison between the TRD PRO and Morimoto, in terms of visibility, does one outshine the other? If the answer is "not really", is the extra $700 cost for the Morimoto buy just the cool start up/turning features (it is cool), or is there something I'm missing here?

    Thanks.

    The Morimoto is a good option as well and definitely LED projectors are better than reflector based headlights, I recommend you to watch this video for the side by side comparison OEM LED vs Morimoto just not sure about the Morimoto headlights reliability because I heard about a few issues with them in a short period of time.

    Thanks for this video.

    Questions;

    1. In the video they refer to "Stock LED Headlights". Are they referring to the TRD PRO LED headlights, or is there another version of LED Headlights (ie "Stock LED Headlights" and "Upgraded TRD PRO LED Headlights)?

    2. The video appears to show the Morimoto is plug and play with the halogen headlights. If that is true then how does the ihacker harness benefit a halogen to Morimoto install and upgrade as direct halogen to Morimoto upgrade seems available from Morimoto right out of the box?

    Thanks!

    1 - Yes when they mention “Stock LED headlights” they are referring to the OEM Toyota LEDs that include the TRD PRO, Sport or Chrome all this options are wired the same and they just have different bezel colors.

    2 - Morimoto is an aftermarket product so they have to provide their own wiring solution. My harness do not work for their headlights.

    Please read carefully the very first post and there’s all the info and a few pictures of the OEM LED headlights options

    If you are interested in a harness please PMe to confirm availability, this will take a while to produce due to lots of soldering required specially for truck with Amber DRL but I do my best to ship in 1-2 day after payment most of the time.

    Installed my LED’s today w/ ihacker’s harness ( 2020 SR5 )
    The harness is the highest of quality. It is honestly better built than an OEM Toyota harness. Everything is plug and play. I didn’t need any directions it’s 100% self explanatory. The plugs only go 1 place, pretty straight forward.
    just wanted to give a quick review of the quality and function of the harness. Awesome job.

    just a curious question while Im waiting for my ihacker harness to show. looking through this post, I notice from the different pics people are posting of their lights installed....that the lights look different colors ( some look yellow-ish and some more blue-ish tint ) is this the case or maybe just the flash some the cameras, etc ??

    The color of the headlights is more like a pure white between 5500K-6000K no blue or yellow tint

    +1 for @iHacker harness being the only way to go. He’s great to deal with, the harness is high quality, and he gets it to you in short order. Light output from 2014 halogens to brand new led pros isn’t even comparable. Only problem is now I have to do the rigid fog conversion too!
