Essentially ODO value is the only thing that can be modified in the EEPROM since is not part of the checksum. Crack the checksum and you can change anything you want.

It would really take some time to isolate which addresses and data bytes map which specific gauge or function. I’m not 100% sure if everything covered in the map but I definitely know speed Rpm and fuel maps are in there.

Since we are talking about it here is a dump from one of my 2014 clusters. Yellow is ODO. Grey is 00 or FF which means no data. All blue and white is data which I think is gauge mapping ect. The blue part was just what I was focused on last time I looked at this.

Red numbers are where I think potential checksum could be. The data in the last two to three lines is interesting to me. Not sure if its part of the map or somthing else. The break of 00 and FF between it and the main code is worth noting.

I can't remember if it was one of your posts or somewhere else where the mapping of the ODO data was discussed... i.e. what the individual values were for specific odometer numbers.

I would have to go look up the conversion but I have it somewhere. I have done it several times. With a cluster in hand I can reflash it to any Odo value in 30 mins or less. Probably faster

Flashed my 2018 once and a 2014 several times for experimenting. Only downfall is it’s not exact. Within 5 miles is the tolerance due to rounding issues I believe.

Change the tire size and drive for a few thousand miles and you've introduced more error than that as it is...
Still seems so dumb to me that TMC doesn't offer the ability to set tire size correction via TechStream, especially given how popular it is to lift and upsize tires on their 4WD vehicles.
