    Hey Tundra Crew,
This weekend I replaced my ac compressor on my 2017 Tundra 5.7 due to the compressor ac clutch seizing up. I replaced the Ac compressor with a Denso. Once I finished the install I went to a local shop to add Freon. Ac compressor worked great and was blowing cold air. As I was pulling out of the shop I heard a noise coming from the hood and assumed maybe the ac compressor was making a little noise, but still blowing cold air.
About 10 minutes later, the ac light started blinking again, and no more cold air. The shop did a leak test and no leaks were found.
I'm thinking Ac compressor might be bad again since it did make some noise once it was filled up with freon.

Any insight or other ideas would be great.
    Thanks

Is the clutch engaging ? Did someone evacuate the system prior to you replacing the compressor ? Did you replace the receiver /drier assy ?

Yes I had someone evacuate the system and take all the freon out before hand, did not replace the air drier

If the old compressor blew, it may have injected metal into your ac system. Generally, you are supposed to flush the system, replace the expansion valve, drier/accumulator and maybe the condenser to make sure you get all the metal out. Then you replace the compressor, evacuate and recharge. Otherwise, it will just blow up again. To warranty the compressor, you generally need to have documentation that you followed the process.
