    Hi David,

Can you tell me your shackle /bushing recommendation for a 2017 TRD pro Crew Max to generate a level to slight rake with a 150 lb load in back with 275\70R18 tires?

    Thank you!

    Tim

2"CB shackles, bushings and 1 shim, lockerdown console vault, rear folding seat back mod, snugtop shell with opening side windows, 46g fuel tank, SDHQ sliders and hidden winch, Decked Drawers, Alcan leaf springs and got rid of the interior chrome
If you're pretty sure you're not going to carry more load than 150lb then CB 1" shackles would be fine. I suggest that you go with the 2" shackles because you will be happier with a little rake more than a little sag if you do increase the load in the future.

Our +1"Coachbuilder shackles will get you level but agree with what @gosolo mentioned and would use our +2"s/Poly bushings. The traction control is happy with a touch of rear rake especially with the added weight of the 38 gal fuel tank.
Feel free to give me a call direct or send over a PM if you'd like to order. Thank you!

If you ever think you may want to increase ride height front and rear We build a system specifically for the PROs and will post up a few pics. Shims/Steering kit/Shackles and poly bushings. Increases 1" up front and 1.75" in the rear.

I recently purchased a set of the +3 shackles and was planning to install them on my 16 DC TRD Off Road in addition to a 6112 Front/5160 Rear Setup (Dirty Deeds) with the possibility of adding airbags down the road for times when I tow extremely heavy. Here are some questions/comments: What is the ride performance of that setup vs. a TRD Pro and/or appearance. I am looking at the picture above and the Top Picture MGM CrewMax Pro is exactly what I am looking for in appearance. I dont need an offroading monster as I do go off road but not in duning or mudding etc. I am more concerned with the truck handling better on road and gaining some comfort while also being able to tow the heavy loads when needed ALL while gaining the appearance above. Will the setup I mentioned above get me that or would I be better off purchasing a TRD Pro suspension from Sparks. Someone please help...

Also, I really like the wheel tire setup as well. Does anyone know the owner of this truck or what model of Fuel wheel (Nutz/Krank) that is and what size offset tire size etc. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

Those are a new fuel wheel im not sure the name of it. The wheels are more than likely 18x9 with +20 offset. Tires appear yo be 295/70r18 nitto ridge grapplers. The bilstein 6112 and 5160 will be a great combo for you. How heavy of loads are we talking. I think you would be fine with +3 shackles. You could look at the @ToyTec Lifts brand shackles i have them they are pretty nice and a little cheaper. Also if you get airbags go with firestones and get the daystar cradles

Thanks @Muleycrazy13 I actually already got the +3 Coachbuilder Shackles along with a CB drop kit, poly bushing, air bag spacer, and 3 shims. I originally intended to get the 6112 fronts and set them to the max height of 2.5" then add two spacers to the left and one spacer to the right (tundra lean large gas tank) which from my understanding gets me 3" up front. If I then added 5160's to the back with the aforementioned shackles I would get 1.75" of lift. I was dead set on this setup after doing lots of reading but then I drove in a friends CrewMax Pro the other day and starting thinking I would sell my truck and buy one. I also saw a picture of one set up this way and it almost looks like the back end sags and I hate that look. The airbags are to prevent that when I tow, but with no load I don't want a sag look. Now I am thinking I may just put the PRO system on my truck instead of the 6112/5160. I was then thinking about doing OME/Toytec/Drakkar complete lifts with the leaf packs but dont know how that would affect my on road performance. This is a truck that is not a daily driver but I do take long trips in and needs to be comfortable on road but take those turns with some confidence and still be able to do well when I go fishing/hunting and drive across fields and through some light mud pits. Money is a factor as I want to get the biggest bang for my buck but is not the main factor in my decision. I know I am rambling, but I am so excited and confused all at the same time. I think I may have a "PROBLEM" and may have an addiction! LOL! Please help me make sense of this in my head.

Honestly if you are going to be towing heavy frequently i personally dont think the pro suspension is what you want. Sure it is awesome setup and im sure rides fantastic, but i dont believe they are the ideal setup for someone who tows alot i think the valving is going to be so soft, but i could be wrong maybe some other peoe will chime in on this thread. Plus for the money youll spend on a pro setup you could get yourself a set of icons, or fox, or Kings

maybe that is why i am so conflicted... I tow my boat like 4 times a year and it is just a small 21 footer which any normal small truck can tow (used to tow with my 06 tacoma) but I tow my hydraulic dump trailer (3400 pounds empty) fully loaded with construction supplies/equipment/gravel/wood etc. like twice a month for an entire day (500 miles each day). Those two days I could easily justify owning a diesel truck, but those are not any fun the other 26 days a month when I dont need that. Point being... I am getting the airbags for the "capability" to survive those two days a month and putting a suspension on to ENJOY my truck taking corners at speed, handling the fields and trails at my hunting/fishing camps, and still be comfortable for me to take all my friends to the beach for the weekend and not get beat up. You are right I can get one of those aftermarket brands, BUT.... maybe I will just go with the original plan and get the 6112/5160's and use them with my CB shackles and be happy. I just hope it doesnt look saggy and handles and rides a little better than the TRD Off Road Bilsteins or I will be extremely disappointed.

I think I accidentally semi-hijacked this thread and so I will stop now, but in all fairness to me I saw the picture of the Concrete TRD Pro in the top picture above with the fuel wheels and immediately fell in love and wanted to ask a question relative to said picture. Would it be wrong to just trade in my 3 month old truck on one of those. Lol! Thanks for the help @Muleycrazy13

If you're having any questions on the setup you're planning or if you think the PRO suspension or even the PRO truck may work better for you feel free to give me a call. The 6112's and 5160 combo work excellent and are the same setup I recommend when trying to duplicate the PRO suspension for guys in the same boat. Everything you've already bought is completely compatible with either route you decide on.. Our +3"s will do the job until you're heavy enough to air the bags up preserving the ride when you're empty. Let me know if I can help.

The owner of this PRO is a ammunition MFG and needed to handle very heavy weight. We set it up with +3"s , Poly bushings and a set of Firestone bags with our air bag spacer kit in the rear. its awesome to see this thing loaded, you can't even tell its full then when he's empty he airs down.Ride quality is excellent empty or loaded. Front is using shims and our Coachbuilder steering kit.

That's the look I need on my Pro, @coachbuilder if I go with that set up on the red truck you posted, can I keep my current Pro shocks and sway bar or does those have to change. I do like the ride I have now, truck handles great in corners and light off roading I do for hunting. Thinking I might have to call you.

    @Coachbuilder1 ,

I'm in the process of putting together my build wish list and am interested in increasing ride height on my 2021 Tundra TRD Pro. Can you send a link to the package you stated regarding "Shims/Steering kit/Shackles and poly bushings. Increases 1" up front and 1.75" in the rear"?

    Thanks in advance,

    Ricardo
