I've had this truck for nearly three years. It took me a bit, but I figured out how to delete the previous owner's email and texts and set up my own. For nearly two years I had no problem with it. About a year ago, I had some health issues and could not drive for eight weeks. During this time, I disconnected the battery so I could put a trickle charger on the battery to keep it from going dead. When I was allowed to drive again, I reinstalled the battery and ever since then I have to set up messaging every time I start my truck. Is there a reason for this? Thanks for your assistance.

my suggestion would be to do two things-
check for any updates for the stereo/audio and update it. There are threads with instructions and links here on tundras.
delete and then re-pair your device

I cant offer the "why" to what happened but both of these things above will often fix stereo/audio glitches.
