2017 Tundra

My truck just developed a kind of a whirring sound inside the drivers side dash and now I have no A/C So i suspect after reading some posts it is the blend door actuator. The sound goes away when I turn off the fan. Pretty confident i did not blow a charge.
I hear it is a pretty difficult repair, any guidance on what needs to be done to repair this
