    Hi all,

I'm looking at swapping out my dash speakers, and had a question on the wiring on the center speaker.

I pulled my center speaker out and it's got 4 wires going to it. 2 on each side of the speaker.

Can anyone help me with the wiring if I'm just going to a regular 3.5" speaker?

There is a red and black wire going to one side of the speaker, and a blue and grey wire going to the other side.

It is a dual voice coil speaker. It is connected to both the left and right channels. You will have better stereo separation if you just unplug it and not replace it.
