    Good morning,

I have a 2017 1794 Tundra that has a driver door that won't unlock with either the FOB or the UNLOCK button on the inside of the truck. Lock function works fine with both, just not the unlock. Door DOES unlock with the use of the manual key from the outside of the vehicle. I ordered an actuator and that did NOT solve the problem. When I hit the unlock button on the FOB there is no "beep" until I hit it a second time, where all the doors unlock except the drivers.

I see other post with members having the exact same issue but no thread comes up with a resolution. ive seen some mention that it could be a "master switch" or "main ECU" or something?

has anyone been able to solve this issue? any help is greatly appreciated!

I have the same issue. Except my physical key won’t unlock either. I have not seen a repair yet.

Yes the physical key will only lock it. It won’t unlock the driver door.

My tundra has the same issue! Toyota replaced actuator, driver door still only locks with fob, but will not unlock unless manually flipped from inside or keyed from outside. They said it is the ECM malfunctioning.
