i have a 2017 Tundra from Doxon Toyota in Washington State. It has aftermarket heated seats, had them when I bought it. The seats got hot and burned some holes in the back rest. I called Doxon, they didnt know anything about how to disable them. Any ideas on this? Dont want to unhook something else by accident.

Unbolt the seat and look under the seat at the wiring. Should be obvious where they tapped into oem wiring or ran a new wire for the heating element. Once you find it just unplug or snip and secure wiring appropriately.

Thanks! I saw the yellow plug. Its still not apparent to me which one to unplug. I was surprised that the dealershiop wasnt interested from a liability standpoint. I am sure this is not the only seat like this....

Look for 2 of the same plastic plugs, usually white. 1 should be coming from the bottom of the seat and the other should be coming from upper seat back.

The yellow plug is the air bags..
ANY yellow plug or cable in your truck is to the air bags.
I would disconnect the battery before unplugging any of them.

Where the power switch for your seat heaters?
Do you have 2 knob dual zone climate control or the three knob manual?
What trim model is your tundra? SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794?

If they are aftermarket, they have to have an aftermarket on/off or off/lo/hi switch.
They will also probably have wires running to them in the seat that are not connected to any of the 3 OEM plugs under the seats.
Here are my switches to my aftermarket seat heaters..
