Hey everyone just wanted to pick some people’s brain about suspension upgrades for my trd pro. I have just over 60k miles on them and I have a 1 inch spacer up from and a 3inch spacer in rear. I want to upgrade my suspension but my budget is 2500. I was thinking about doing the bilstein 6112s for the front and the 5160 for the rear. Is that ok to have and keep my spacer? I am running 35 inch tires and I don’t plan on going any larger. Any tips or input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

you remove the spacer when switching to lifted coilovers. 6112s, Eibach pro truck, Toytec, OME all have good offerings in your price range.

Do I remove just the front spacer? As far as quality what brand would you go with from that list? Thank you

You’re removing the Pro Bilstiens? You plan on selling them?

Bilstein 5100's, Morimoto gen 2 XB headlights and fog lights, TRD sway bar and skid plates. Nothing else needed!
I went from factory (non TRD) to the Bilstein 5100's. Best upgrade. Although the new ones are a bit stiffer, I expect that will soften over time.
I had a spacer up front, and removed it and went with just the coil overs. Corrects your ball angle joints and the ride quality is much better.
Personally Im a big Bilstein fan, I've used them for a long time in my other rides (mostly dedicated off road vehicles), and I can say I've never been sorry I went that route... Cheers!

I will probably end up selling them when I replace them. If so I’ll let you know. I do like the bilsteins as well. So I may go that route. My last question is how to I correct my cv axle angle? Is there a spacer I put somewhere. I noticed after I put the spacer if I turn sharp left or sharp right I get a slight grinding noise sometimes. I’m assuming that is because the angle is to steep. I bought a set of rcv axles that I’m going to put in when I do the suspension. So want to make sure I correct the angle before I install those. Thank you

I suspect what you are hearing is tire tub with 35s. I have slight tire rub at full lock running 33s on my TRD Pro BBS wheels. My tires are hitting the stock skid plate.

It could be tire rub but I doubt it. I had the body mount chop done and I have a cbi off-road front bumper. There is plenty of clearance front and back of the tire but I will have to verify. Thanks for the idea
