    Hello,

I was working on my sequoia and noticed the Sub Batt relay was melted and the 40amp fuse was blown.

Does anyone know what this is for because I have not noticed any problems with the vehicle everything seems like it works. I also have no idea when it happened.

    Thank you!

From what I can find on google it’s for trailer towing.

Thanks, I was thinking maybe it was for towing since it is next to tow/tail relay just not sure what a 40amp relay would be for.
maybe for a battery charger or something.

I do have a boat maybe something got shorted out backing trailer in the lake
