I am looking at 2 trucks, and can't decide which is best. I will start by saying that by the time I get either paid for I will have 150000 to 170000 miles on them.

I'm going to throw them out there and ask for yalls opinions.

    1st..2016 Tundra SR5 TRD 5.7 doublecab 4x4 34,000 miles $29,999

    2nd 2018 Tundra Limited 5.7 doublecab 4x4 48,000 miles. $31,999

Both are out of warranty but both will come with a lifetime powertrain warranty.
My intention is to have a dependable daily driver and a camper hauler (think mountains)

Just saw the carfax on the 16. It is from New Hampshire and has had front end damage repaired. So I'm steering clear of that one.

The carfax on the 18 says industrial use and on 2 places on the service history it says checked axles. These were both before 10,000 miles and are not mentioned again on the carfax. Wonder why you would request the axles be check before 10,000 miles

There could have been a TSB to check the axles or the owner thought he heard something. Price seems "in Line" maybe well for a Limited. Unless at a "No Haggle" dealership, The price should be negotiable, offer $1-2K less. Worst case they say no but should counter with something less.

Also check or have checked for the Cam Tower oil leak. Pesky expensive repair. If present have them repair or adjust pricing accordingly.

    Good Luck.
