Recommendations please. My neighbor has a 2016 4Runner and is looking to go up in tire size. He's keeping it factory, no lift. I suggested a 275/70/17, but would like to get a few more suggestions/ opinions . Thanks

    1) He can probably only go to a 285/70/17 if he's not adding any lift or not willing to do a body mount chop. That's assuming he has the stock wheels, too.

    2) This question is probably better asked on Toyota-4Runner.org.

    3) Tell him to look at the tires these 4Runner builds are running:

275/70/17 is about all he will get to run w/o BMC, and they need to be less knobby tires (AT/ AT2, no MTs)

Yes that's the size I suggested after more research. Also suggested either the K02 or ST Maxx.
