I tried searching prior to starting this thread, however, I couldn't find anything.

I just replaced all the door lock actuator motors on my 2015 with no major issues. However, after I changed them out I tried unlocking/locking the driver's door with the physical key and no go. The key would turn left/right, but it wouldn't unlock/lock.

Any advice on where to start looking into this? I'm not sure if this has been the case for a while or just recently as I always use my keyless remote to unlock the doors.

    Thanks in Advance

Well....I solved my own issue as an update for anyone that may run into this. Apparently, when the dealership replaced my driver's door handle under the stuck handle recall the tech never took the time to re-seat the lock cylinder into the door lock rod inside the door.

Removed the T30 screw on the side of the door to remove the locking cylinder portion of the door handle, and carefully put it back in making sure the groves lined up. Problem solved!

I guess I haven't unlocked my truck with the key since that recall a few years ago!

I put a motor in the actuator. Fob still doesn’t unlock door. And now I can’t unlock door with physical key. No power getting to unlock side of switch. How do I get the key to unlock the door again? I didn’t touch the door handle. Or key cylinder in door lock.

I checked the key cylinder and made sure it was lined up. Still won’t unlock with key. Bringing it in to a Mechanic friend to scan it maybe main body computer thinks it’s already unlocked

    Hi, @Maddog87
Did you were able to fix your issue, if you haven’t, try with your spare key, normally with the time, these keys wear out and most of the time you are able to lock the door but not unlock it, I learned it with my drawer lock. hopes it works for you.

@kkag621 Trust me that was driving me nuts, I had my drawer handled lock removed for a year after I locked it once and then I couldn’t open it. after spending hours looking back and forth on these forums I saw that someone mentioned about the keys wearing out, After that I have always keep an spare key just in case.
