2015 Tundra (1794) headlights turning off all of a sudden

2015 TUNDRA 1794

Usually while driving to work in the mornings it's dark and occasionally my headlights (they're always in "auto" mode) will turn off all of a sudden. It seems to occur on very cool or cold more mornings. I'm guessing it's the light sensor malfunctioning...Anyone experience this or have any advice besides taking it to the dealer? THX
