    Afternoon all,
I have a 2015 TSS with the aluminum wheels. I'm about to take a week long trip from home and wanted to make sure everything is good to go. Well I checked my tire iron to make sure it is the right size and I could barely get it on the lug nuts. I feel like I could bang it on with a mallet... I also searched and found that a 22mm or 7/8s works as well, but I would have to hammer them on too.
Is this right? I feel like I would have to replace the nuts every time I removed the tire if I'm having to hammer them on each time.
I have a picture added just to make sure everyone knows what I have.
    Thanks all!

Sometimes those lug nuts swell. When's the last time you had a wheel off the truck?

I've had it for almost a year now and haven't had them off yet. I was going to do a rotation but couldn't get my lug wrench on easily so I figured I would ask.

Tire iron is too fat...... Get a thinner walled socket

Ran into this myself a couple of weeks ago. Was taking a wheel off for the first time myself on a 2013 with what were supposed to be factory 20" rims. Put a 24mm impact socket on my wrench and put it on the nut and it felt too loose, so I grabbed the next size down in my set, put it on the impact wrench, leaned into the nut and spun her up...instead of slipping on and going into impact mode it just rounded off the corners on the nut. After checking what size I had picked out of the set, it was a 22mm. I tried the factory lug wrench, it wasn't even close to going on. I called the dealer I bought it from to get a replacement lug nut and their parts department took the VIN and did a search. According to them, these were not "factory" but "distributor" wheels and did not have "factory" lug nuts. Long story short, they were 23mm. Had to go to the parts store and buy a 23mm impact socket since that was not part of my standard set. Bought a complete replacement set of lug nuts through Amazon. they are 22mm.
