Hi guys I’m new to forums so I’m gonna do my best. I can’t figure out the photo upload yet. My name is Kim.I have a 2015 XSP-x crew max cab with about 80,000 miles. I absolutely love the little carbon fiber finesse that Toyota used on this model.

I’ve had every service done at the dealership but now I’m getting to the timeframe with some issues. I know they are going to be very expensive and maybe I can help the situation myself at least partly.

I had a rodent issue and have the majority of the dash and center console opened up for cleaning and repairs. I found a group of wires chewed through that appear to be part of the motor-fan housing unit for the cabin filter area located behind the glove box. I wasn’t sure about actually removing that fan housing and the process. I can’t repair the wires without removing it (not sure I can even then) but I need to get a better look. Can I get any guidance on how to safely remove that fan motor area and possibly replace or repair the wiring or is this at a point that I really should take it in to a mechanic.
    Thanks!!!
