    That's a "NO" for me...Not even if they were giving it away free.

    Toyota's advice is to use WS exclusively, and many owners follow that practice, particularly during their warranty period. Valvoline MaxLife is also used by many Toyota owners out of warranty. Do some research to find owner experiences. Valvoline's product description claims that compatibility with WS spec and Toyota transmissions has been confirmed by testing. YMMV.

    I'm using Schaeffer 204SAT in my trans. It shifts great, it's slightly thicker in viscosity than WS, but I live in the south and when I emailed Schaeffers about using the fluid they said I was good to run it without issue. They also make 205A which is a WS compatible fluid if you're further north and want a less viscous fluid
