2014 with drl's in canada. SR5. upgrade to 2018 headlights

Can it be done? Will I still have drl's?

 

What do you mean by DRL's? Does it have the led strip at the bottom like American platinum's/1794's, the amber light is the DRL, or it uses the headlights for DRL's?

 

2018 LED headlights have DRL, it is the white "C-clamp" LED strip surrounding the headlight assembly.

 

so what do i need to buy to make this plug and play? Are the USA headlights the same as the Canadian ones?

 

I would think the actual headlights assemblies are the same. To make this work you will need the two headlights and a conversion harness. If you do a search here there is a thread telling you where you can buy the harness, the whole deal will be around 800.00 USD or so.
I can tell you that much, the OEM LED headlights are awesome and turn the night into day, I had OEM LEDs on my last two F-150s and the Toyota LEDs are much better.

 

@tonycliffton3 did this conversion in Canada on a TRD PRO to the 2018 LED headlights you can ask him for pictures or tips the only thing I know is shipping to Canada is desperately slow customs delays packages for several days
