    Hi Folks, I am looking into replacement of my glitchy head unit. This is for a 2014 SR5 (no nav, basic entune?)
    Ideally as follows;
    -links to Apple phones
    -links to steering wheel and dash knob/button controls
    -works with existing back up camera
    -AM/FM and bluetooth
    -stock looking or as subtle as possible.
    -no huge ipad screens required
    -no CD required
    -no Sirius required
    -no voice controls etc required Appreciate any advice re model, anything else needed, and ease of diy install. Thanks!

    Not to sure about gen 3 cause I own and concentrate on gen 2, but it may matter what type of audio system your truck has. Is it a jvc system with an amp cause that may complicate matters? I changed from a stock head unit to kenwood excellon. The results were night and day, and it was an easy install. I didn t get the top of the line excellon. Probably middle of the road model, but it s worked great. It has bluetooth, 2 usb connections, and an input connection, along with 2 camera connections. I m pretty sure it would be compatable with stock cameras. Think I paid bout 450-500 bucks for it new. I ve never owned an apple product in my life so I cant help you there.
