2014 5.7 radiator

    Does anyone know if the radiator remains the same between the 2nd gen and 3rd gen tundras? From the pictures they look identical and some radiator descriptions say 07 to 13 while others say 07 to 18. When I was replacing my waterpump yesterday, I had a wrench slip and I nicked a small hole in my radiator, I used a half bottle of stop leak to fix it till I can get another radiator. I've been looking at the denso brand because from my research they seem to make the oem radiator, and it's only 125 bucks, which is alot better than the almost 300 toyota wants for it. Any help or guidance is much appreciated guys. There are several radiators on ebay as well but not sure if I wanna get an unknown brand.

    Pull the radiator and bring it to a radiator shop. The small hole should be a easy fix and cheaper than a new radiator. just my .02 worth.

    Hmm this thought actually didn't cross my mind. I called a very reputable shop and they told me they will straighten the fin and solder it for about 35 to 50 bucks depending on how bad it is, and they'll flush out all the stop leak as well. I'll take it to them later this week, thank God I have another truck to get around in. I'll update when I get it fixed. Should i put new coolant in it since i used stop leak in this coolant?

    Koyo or CSF if you decide to swap it out. I had some issues with the end tanks on an 09 Corolla we own. Like John said, a rad shop should be able to braze that hole closed if you want the cheapest and easiest. Not sure how the stop leak would affect the braising process, but I would ask the shop if it's still doable.

    I would do a full flush with new fluid.
