been searching for a tundra. So far in my price range and area I’ve found 2 candidates. A 2013 trd off-road Crewmax truck with 72k miles. The other is a 2014 trd double cab truck with 80k miles. The 13’ Crewmax is about $700 more on the price currently. What do you guys think is the better option? I know the only real difference is aesthetics between the 14’ and 13’. I like the updates of the 14’ but like the Crewmax aspect of the 13’. I don’t need a Crewmax. I’m 24 and only have an ol’ lady, no kids or anything that requires the extra interior space. But it’s freakin’ huge!

Both great trucks. It really depends on what you want a truck for. Interior space or a bigger bed. Me personally...I think the double cab has plenty of room and I do like the 14's interior update but, I also like the 2ND gens body style and stampless tailgate. If possible you should test drive both. No difference in drive train except tuning. Toyota toned it down a notch in the 14. Good luck with your decision. Let us know

If kids are a possibility, the CM better for car seats.
There may be more accessories available for Gen 3, (14 & up).

I just went from a 07 SR5 DC to a 14 Limited DC. Night and difference with the interior. My 07 had a real touchy throttle. Yep...the 14s and up not so touchy. Turn on tow haul mode if you have it. Touchyness gone..I prefer the longer bed. A matter of your needs.
