2013 tundra - Method MR316 5x150 - 17x8.5 - 0 offset

    Want to get opinions if you can help me.

    I have a stock 2013 Toyota Tundra and looking to get new wheels/tires.

    I currently have 275/65/18 tires, but am looking at getting Method MR316 in 17x8.5 with 275/70/17 tires.

    Will these fit a stock 2013 Tundra?

    Do you prefer 17" wheels with more rubber or stick with 18" rims?

    18s are fine for ride. 17s will have more rubber vs rim, so ride even better.

    Issue you might have is the offset. Stock offset wheels are +60. So 0 offset has the wheels sticking out, which could induce rubs at bumper, wheel well plasitcs and mud flap/body mount area.

    Here is a tool to help understand how offset changes will impact fit As an example, I have 285/75-18 tires which fit fine with mild lift and stock offset wheels. I installed new wheels with +35 offset and to avoid rubs, I removed mudflaps and spaced the front bumper out. Otherwise they would have rubbed mudflap and bumper....as they are pretty tall tires.

    Can 0 offset work for your application?- possibly but it may need some tweaks if you have rubs. Bumper spacer and mudflap removal is easy, DIY for anyone that can turn a wrench.

    Or, look at rims with +25 offset, they do fit easier with less fuss and still stick out a bit if you like that.
