Truck will start fine for days or a couple weeks, then crank fine but not start. It’s definitely a fuel issue. Fuel pump AND Fuel Control Modules have been replaced. Very frustration. Just towed to shop when it did not start for 3 days and started when they took it off the truck. Started every time for 2 days now. Will definitely happen again… Any Help?
Add Fuel Pump relay to the list of new parts. Issue persists.
Nobody have any advice? Can’t believe nobody else has experienced this…

I am having a similar problem that just started on my 2019 Tundra. My first thought was I had a low FOB battery. After replacing the batteries in both smart keys started fine until the next time I went to start it. I should have paid more attention when it wouldn't start, but I don't think I had an immobilizer light flashing. I didn't think it was the fuel system because I didn't have any codes. I would think no fuel would throw a code. While it was in hard failure, and I tried to start it for quite a while, I used contact cleaner (deox) on the connector that goes to the antenna ring on the ignition switch. It started right away and I have restarted it several times. It has only been a day so I don't trust it. Just thought I would put this info out.
Let me know what you figure out on yours and I will let you know if my problem returns. Good Luck

Was it actually cranking but not turning over? That’s what mine is doing, and when it won’t start there is no power to the fuel pump. We know that much.

Yes, mine would just crank and crank. Is yours producing codes?

Yes it produced a general code that translated something like “starting issue”. Not much help for sure….

There should be a brilliant mechanic that’s seen everything from a Toyota dealer on this forum!

I am having the same issue I have a 2013 Tundra 4.6 V8. It started as crank with no start I had it towed to a local shop that I have dealt with before and they have done good work. They did some parking lot triage on it before they were going to pushing it in and start working on it. It had no fuel pressure to the rails, could not hear the fuel pump run when the key was turned on. The mechanic hit the fuel tank in a few spots and it started right up so we were thinking bad fuel pump. They replaced it with a Denzo fuel pump same ones that Toyota uses. I picked it starts fine, drive it home and it starts the next morning. I drive to work and get done go out to the truck to go home and no start. I beat on the fuel tank in a few different spots and it starts right up, I drive straight to the shop and explain what's going and they are willing to make right with me up to having the towing expense billed to them if I need it. Fast forward to this morning I go out to go to work and crank but no start, hit on the fuel tank it starts but only runs for 5-10 seconds then stalls out. Luckily I was able to get back in the driveway I just can't think of why hitting the fuel tank would make it start. Would it be a bad fuel pump module or bad relay or bad fuel pump I just don't know. I did have one of the emission filters changed last year when it sent the truck into "Limp" mode other than that it has been a solid truck. It has no engine mods, just an aftermarket remote start that has been installed by me for the last 5 yrs and i have had no issues with that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
