Wanting to know best coarse of action to take on my 2013 Tundra with transmission codes.
P0766-shift solenoid "D" performance or stuck off.
P0776- pressure control solenoid B performance or stuck off
P2714- pressure control solenoid D performance or stuck off
Set up to change all three? Just change fluid?
Anyone with experience with this issue please share so i can get her back on the road.

Solenoids for the P0766 may have multiple solenoid options, so be advised. There are plenty of ways to see if you may have an issue with those solenoids. The easiest would be fluid change. I did this with a P0894 and P2714, lasted about 2 years before the transmission started to "slip". I did do a few more drain and fills but it kept coming back and I kept losing 1st, 5th and 6th gear all together. It would be very random for 1st so it was scary on left turns with oncoming traffic and having a delayed acceleration. I replaced the Performance D solenoid just last month. I have a thread with P0894 only, but in there are a slew of other issues and codes including Torque convertor solenoid issue, that was sort of resolved by addung fluid, but I replaced it anyway. There are other threads you can look up with P2714 with very good info. The solenoid guessinh game may have you replace your transmission for replacing a wrong solenoid, so I would really look into your options before you purchase or invest in anything. A tech can help you narrow it down if you want to DIY, and it's pretty straight forward, minus the breaking of the pan bolts.

Thanks for the info. I am trying to research as much as possible for the best chance of success. I will check out the other threads for the P2714 code. Do you think that its worth trying a fluid and filter change first since I don't know the service history? I have put 24 k on it and got it at 112k total 136k. Thank again!

A fluid exchange is definitely a good idea. You don’t need to worry about changing the filter - not yet, anyways. As @blackdemon_tt mentioned, the fluid will give you an idea of what is going on in the transmission. Capture some of it in a plastic cup or clear jar and note the color, smell, and presence of sand, metal, or glittery looking particles; if present in large quantities, that would be your clutch packs failing and disintegrating. If it’s just brown and stinky, your fluid is burnt and deteriorated and needs to be replaced. Several drain and fills would work, or a flush in that case.

From what I’ve seen, several transmission codes at once could also be a harness issue from rodents or abrasion, so look at the wiring harness as well.

That should get you started. Post up some picks if the fluid, maybe even a drop or two on a paper towel.

Thanks for the advice on this. I will start by checking the wire harness to be sure, lots of squirrels around the house. Then try multiple drain and replace. Thanks for your time on this. I hope to work on it this week and will try to post examples.

As stated, the filter doesn't need to be replaced. I replaced my filter because I had already bought it before I joined this site and found out I didn't need it, 2 years later I replaced it, but the wire harness to those sensors is in the valve body inside the oil pan There may be a couple wires that go up to the ECU, Dash and gear selector. If those need to be inspected you may need to drop that pan and inspect the harness.. Someone posted their harness got melted inside the pan, don't remember the codes, but I do believe P2714 was 1 of them. Harness for those appear inexpensive an $50 and $15 more or less. But before you go taking thinga apart that you don't need, drain and fill 1st.
