Hey guys, new to this forum and my tundra. I just purchased a 2013 tundra crewmax 4wd two days ago and love it!...... when i bought it is was perfect.. now the issue, 200 miles driven sense purchasing it for 22k... i am suddenly burdened by an issue. I got in it this evening started it up and out of no where my engine light it on, my trac off light is on and my 4lo light is blinking, also with this my reverse camera is not working and my reverse lights are not working.. im freaking out a bit, something electrical maybe? I dont know. Anyway i called the dealership and they said too bad so sad. I only have a power train warranty.. anyway, it drove fine still, and i could still engage and disengage my 4 wheel drive. I got home and checked the codes all i had was u0126 and c1206. These have nothing to do with my reverse lights and camera though.. anyway i cleared the codes and my camera is working again and lights and the trouble lights stayed off. I havnt driven anywhere yet so time will tell. Any ideas? Where to start? Im frantic right now. Thanks everyone!

My old dodge had a weird electrical issue like this. It ended up being a bad ground to the engine. Check your ground wires. Start at the battery and work backwards. Check grounds at fuse boxes and body too. Worth a shot.

Check the wiring around the front and rear wheel speed sensors for damage. These wires are quite fine and can be easily damaged.

U0126 appears to be a Steering Angle Sensor code
C1206 appears to be a Wheel Speed Sensor code

Good point. I had an issue like this after a lift once. The wire had rubbed against the tire because of one of the relocation brackets was missing in the kit. I tied it up while waiting for the replacement, but it didn't hold.

Someone else modified and/or damaged something, or you had a component failure. It can be very scary when a new-to-you but used vehicle acts up. Remember this: vehices are a bunch of individual systems working together. The good news is the engineering on these trucks is solid as a rock...you just have to isolate the failure, damage, or mod.

    Welcome from Texas!

The dealer you purchased from should at least take a look at it and try to work with you. If not, I would make complaints to BBB and what ever state agency may be interested.

    sorry for your troubles.
