My 2012 tundra wont crank after changing the (apps)
So I decided to change this part because my truck would start but wouldnt rev up and wouldnt have throttle response no matter what gear I was in. So after changing it I tried to start the truck and it wont crank now. Tried to disconnect the negative cable for 30 mins still nothing. I've looked online to try and find an ecu restart procedure and cant find one for this model. Does anyone have any ideas of what to do?

It almost sounds like its in limp mode. Its hard to try to figure some of this stuff out as it would be a list of things that could be going on. Have you done any work to the truck lately?? Have you changed your spark plugs?? Have you done any modifications to the truck??

I don't think it had anything to do with the accelerator pedal, and more to do with the possibility of a secondary air injection pump failure which would trigger the limp mode. Have you gotten any codes, prior to swapping out the pedal and prior to unplugging the battery??
Another possibility would be a dirty MAF sensor, throttle body or even an AIC valve which all deal with the intake system. If you sit in the truck with the radio off turn the key to the on position and listen for a slight whine which means the truck primes which might mean you are getting fuel. Check your EFI fuse if that is working, check your sparks, finally it may be your fuel pump, which will require you to test your pressure which in the end might be your fuel pump. This is only a stab in the dark, without more information this can contract or expand as more information is provided.

I havent done any work to it prior to this. I had drove home from work the day prior and everything was fine then I went to drive it and the gas pedal wasnt giving any response.

Disconnect the battery, and put the original pedal back in. Reconnect the battery and let us know what you get.

Check all your fuses, even in the engine bay, with a multi meter. I'd check the ignition fuse first.

Agree with the above Starter relay after the ignition. Going back to the stock pedal will not resolve the issue since something was tripped. Have you pulled any codes from it??
