2012 Tundra Headlights UV Coating

It's time for me to remove and replace my original headlight assemblies. The UV coating is deteriorating from the sunshine and heat here in Texas.

The more I look online for replacements I'm told they do not work with the headlight adjustment switch located on the dashboard.

I really would like to keep them stock and welcome any feedback from anyone who has faced this same issue.

 

you need to find a set that are compatible with the power headlight adjusters. I know they are nearly double the cost for OEM replacements and not sure if any after market companies make them

 

For the cheapest solution you can sand, polish and put a new clear coat on your oem headlights.

 

true, always my favorite option.

I do the sanding and 2k clear coat method and never had an issue
