Looking for some help with my 2012 Tundra, I replaced the ECU to try and fix my 4wd problem, got a pre programmed one from flagship, plugged it in, used their OBD2 port tool to reset and did their procedure, now it cranks, won’t start, and the old ECU cranks, won’t start it either, I cannot hear the fuel pump cycling either, anyone have any experience with this? Thanks

Did the process include registering the keys?

When I swapped my ECU I had to register the keys. Mine came from eBay. So there was no company with a process involved.

I looked at their site. Did you give them your VIN?

Do they say no key registration is needed?

I had not heard of them before.

Getting Techstream on your laptop and syncing the ecu to the keys to the third other ecu (name escapes me) may be a good path forward. All three have to have the same vin number and is likely what is causing no fuel (essentially truck thinks you have the wrong key).

I got a new key yesterday, during registration I got a unregistered key code. Maybe you can see if you have that code.

I have them my VIN, and in my conversation with their rep on the phone, they stated that this would Pete a “ Plug and play” , that nothing else was needed lol. I’ve heard about bootleg techstream thats available, and inexpensive connectors, anyone know anything about those, I’m thinking I’m going to need to see what’s actually going on

I'd call them & get them to figure it out.

Did that, they are trying to figure it out, just not confident in their staff at this point lol, so I thought I’d throw it out to the real world people

What is the original issue that made you seek a new ecu?

Long story, 4x4 quit working about 2years ago, stuck in 4whl hi, Toyota diagnosed bad Transfer case actuator, pulled it apart, it looked and worked great, so did the front axle actuator, I replaced all of them with new Toyota Actuators( Hi, Lo, front differential,. It still did the same thing, would go into 4x4/high, but not come out. Replaced the dash switch, and the 4x4 controller, and tried moving the timing on the actuator about 20 different positions, still no luck. Talked to an old friend who is a Lexus master technician for the last 30 years, he he had no clue( I was a Honda Master tech for 19 years up until 2005, then entered a career in the Fire service) I checked every ground, fuse, relay, so the ECU was the only component left lol

Sounds like a immo issue. Is there a red key light flashing on the dash? Or by the clock
