    Good Morning.

Can someone tell me if I have to have the engine removed to replace the rack and pinion? I've got a 2012 Tundra 5.7 V8 SR5 Crewcab. My PS went out the other day and had to muscle it to the shop. Couldn't find the PS fluid leak until they kept filling it up and a boot popped. Now they won't touch it because they say the engine needs to be pulled. Called dozen diff shops with prices ranging from $1400-4200. Can this job be DIY without special tools or does anyone know of a shop in Middle TN that does this sort of job. Toyota should have a recall on that junk. Thanks
