Misfire codes on 3 and 5 from shop.
    O'Reilly showed 1 3 5 7 with 3 being permanent.
I unplugged battery and swap #1 & #2 coil packs for kicks hooked up battery drove 30 miles no codes engine light checks all my plugs for any signs none plugs look like normal wear.
Swap the 1 and 2 back to original location and my check engine light came right back on. Any thoughts before I buy 8 coil packs.

So you swapped coil 1 and 2? But didn't touch 3, which is the problem? Or am I reading this wrong?

Edit: when swapped it needs about 3 turn on/off cycles before it will give you a pending or permanent code.

So at O'Reilly they said me 1, 3, 5, 7, 1 was the main so I swapped out 1 with 2 to see if the code would jump. I disconnected the battery swapped coils started up let run 10 min no codes drove home about 20 miles no codes.
Pulled the spark plugs on 1,3,5,7 just to check all looked fine. Put back together started it no codes, swap the coil pack back from 1 and 2 instant codes. Call the shop I always use told me to bring it by and he ran it had a code on 3 and 5 better scanner I guess. 3 was main one so I just ordered all new coil packs he wad not sure why even with the code scanner it was not giving him a 100 percent miss fire all the time.
