I accidentally turned my truck off while it was shifting from 2wd to 4wd. now the 4wd hi light is stuck blinking and traction control light is on. Is there a way to reset this? either manually or by jumper wire? I have tried driving it, disconnecting battery, toggling 4wd switch. nothing works. also no codes present

Try to slowly shift from P to R to D, back and forth. Have you got the manual? I just bought new to me 2010 4wd 5.7.
When test driving it I had the same thing happen so we got out the manual. It seems a bit stupid to me to be honest
that it is finicky. Read what it says, hope this helps.

I forced upper transfer actuator with jumper wire, it was definitely in middle of its travel and the traction control turned off. 4wdhi still blinking though and only runs in 2wd. I tried to let the truck sort this out on its own but after 4 months its time to take action
