My 2011 5.7 RWD Tundra just got totaled. Engine is good. Insurance company may not be paying out, so I was considering getting a donor truck to put my engine in. I am consider going with 2014 4x4.

Any issues with engine fitting into a 2014. Does the extra things for 4x4 allow for it to fit. Are any oil pan fitting with Front differential.

I know I would need to use donor truck wiring harness and ECU and donor truck transmission. Let me know. Thanks.

Engine is the same. Only issue may be on the electronics side since Toyota typically introduces new wiring harnesses and ecu with new models. I may be wrong. But I know 17 and 18 model year trucks are completely different from an ecu and harnesss standpoint.
