So my truck was vibrating when pressing the brakes, come to find out that the front and rear brakes need changing. Now that the rear break pads and rotors have been changed by a mechanic the rear of the truck bounces like hell and feels as if the truck is loosing acceleration, I thought it was a flat tire. This happens at 70mph and above. What could this be?

Have you climbed under there and check for excessive heat? Sounds like the caliper is stuck.

    What he said.
Same experience I had turned out to be a stuck caliper on right front.
Rebuilt caliper, and life was good.

You can get an infrared thermometer for about $10-$15. Shoot it at your calipers after heavy braking to compare.
