My 2010 2wd is long overdue for changing the rear differential fluid. Mobil1 75W-90 Synthetic seems the most popular around here, and not a bad price, but everywhere I find it listed it says LS on the front of the bottle. As far as I know Tundras don't have a limited slip differential. Is it okay to use fluid that has that added? Or is it just if I had one, I definitely need LS fluid?

Yes, the Mobil 1, 75W90 LS fluid will be fine. I recently changed my diff fluid and used it.

That mobil 1 is fine. alot of good reviews on supertech gear lube over on bobistheoilguy - that's what I ended up using in mine

LS additive is fine. Doesn't hurt having it when you don't need it.

And I started using supertech gear lube too. Cheap. Do it every 40-50k.

Thanks all, changed it today. Went with the Mobil1 since it was easy to find. Old stuff was really dark, glad it's done.
