Horn quit working, read on here how easy it was to replace clock spring. And it was, done in about 20 minutes. Horn worked as did everything else. Drove truck to store afterwards and on the way home thought id try the horn. Yeap you guessed it. Didnt work.. any ideas anyone. Defective clock spring? Do they commonly fail? Guess Ill buy another one from somewhere else and try again.

If you haven't already checked fuses, and wires leading up to your horns itself. My experience when clock springs fail or start to fail in addition to horn not working, airbag light illuminates, sometimes turn signals don't cancel automatically.
I have not replaced clock spring in a Tundra, older Toyota Hilux's yes.

I would side with a fuse as well.... if its bad, then chase the wiring, may be damaged.

I did that job on a nissan pathfinder. symptoms usually are horn not working or working when the steering is turned all the way as well as radio buttons not working from the steering wheel. Is that what you were experiencing ?
