    Hi All!
New to the Forums. I guess that's a good thing considering I have had this truck for 13 years and it has 183,000 miles on it and this is the first time I've needed help on a issue. Its a 2009 SR5 TRD 5.7 4X4 with a leveling kit and oversized tires. Short of doing scheduled maintenance it has been a very reliable truck. I'm considering doing a full restoration on the truck once the engine needs it as I love the body style and engine!
I have a feeling its a computer issue but here we go with the deets!

So first of all there are no codes thrown.
The truck never has stalled once rolling down the road.
This issue has never happened when cranking cold.

This happens from time to time randomly but always eventually starts.

So after being ran and parked during the day sometimes the engine will crank and then immediately die. try again and same thing, than it will just turn over indefinitely some cranks, than start and die, then eventually starts after 5-10 tries. Giving it gas when it cranks doesn't help. Once again, once it starts it runs fine and hasn't cut out. But I fear one day if not fixed it will.
    What has been done.
My mechanics only thought so far is it might me the key fob not communicating correctly due to age. Suggested I get a new one. I did. Still happens.
So before I throw a bunch of money into figuring this out I wanted to ask this forum for help.
So please any and all advice will be much appreciated!

Have you had the ALC% scanned or reset?

I haven't. I was reading on here about a scanner someone bought where you could reset your ALC %. As I was reading that thread though no one has the issue I'm having. Everyone had either stalling or cold start issues. I guess it couldn't hurt though. I will ask my mechanic what he would charge to reset it. Thanks for the advice I really appreciate it Knabores!

Always worth getting your flexfuel 3UR back to normal ALC% before throwing money at other things.
