Hi..so here are pictures of the setup to electrically test the ADD actuator on the Tundra 4x4 systems.
ThIs should be done out of the truck. I bought this cheap adjustable DC power supply from Amazon. It has adjustable voltage to 30 volts and current up to 10 amps. The current can also be limited so you dont blow things up. The schematics are from the Tundra manual someone else posted. I used the blue Panduit ferrules to make the connections to the actuator terminals. The brown relay was one I borrowed from my Tundra. This works awsome and is best to do before you pull the ADD apart. You could also jog the motor itself if you think its seized by going on terminals 1 and 2 on the ADD. Watch your polarity to make sure the motor will rotate in the correct direction. The ADD detection switch can also be checked in both positions.
