    Hello everyone!

Couple weeks ago I purchased this 2008 tundra crewmax 4x4 down in Texas. Im a long time toyota fan and have recently moved from an 85 4runner and into a tundra. This thread will document the modifications and fixes I perform on this truck.

For reference, here's my 85 before I sold it. I loved this truck, daily drove it for almost 8 years before my family outgrew it and wanted something a bit more comfortable and tow rated.

I drove 7.5 hours one way to pick up the tundra. After the long trip home I gave it a good cleaning inside, and started making notes of repairs it needed.

First thing I found was passenger rear seat would not recline. I took out the seat and chased the cable and found this mount to be cracked. I chased down the part number and waiting for it to arrive.

Toyota Part number (color black) 72057-0E010-C0

The next thing was some seat covers. My wife found this set and ordered them. They seem to be well built. Went with black because I am not a fan of the gray interior. Also sourcing the button controls for the seat on the driver's side, as those were missing.

Yesterday I pulled the floor mats out and shampoo the carpet as well as I could. It was pretty gross in there. I also discovered i have the dreaded flashing 4hi light, so I will be addressing that next. Those transfer case actuators seem to be a point of concern on these rigs. Alot different that my 85, thats for sure.

I am still undecided on these wheels. What's your thoughts on them? Think I want a smaller rim with more meat. How's bronze wheels look on blue streak?

Spent a little time on father's day working on the truck while the baby was napping. I have some droopy headliner issues to tackle. I really want to pull the whole headliner down and recover it in black, but for now I was able to get it tacked back down with some 3m adhesive spray.

I've read through most of the transfer case actuator content I've found on this forum, and would like to throw this out there to see what kind of responses I get.

Referencing this chart, I do not see any combination that matches what my dash shows. Im only getting an initially slow blinking 4 hi light, then after 8 slow flashes it starts blinking faster.

We did end up getting a power train warranty on this when we purchased it, but this seems like it could be a relatively easy fix.
