Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and would like to thank you all for all the information I've gathered from the site. I just had a few general questions and thought I'd get some expert advice. I have an 08 Tundra DC, question is will OEM running boards from a CM mount up and work on mine? Thanks in advance. Here's a pic of my truck.20201103_120758.jpg

It's not a direct fit. The crewmax running boards are longer than the double cab.

I believe frames are the same?? So would the running board just run a little bit more into my bed since it's a DC?

Most running boards mount to the body. Not sure the bolt locations would match a crew cab vs a double cab.

Yes same frame. But like @BamaJoe said, they mount to the body, not the frame. The mounting locations may be different. The front mounting point is probably same but the rear might be different. But anything is possible with a little of work...I'm sure you can get them to fit with some modification or move mounting brackets.
