2008 limited crewmax backup screen

    Anyone have any advice on the little flip down backup camera screen? Its washed out...you can make out the lines and some of what is behind you but not like it should be...dare I replace the flip down screen? OR the backup camera in the tailgate handle? I've watched youtube videos on both just dont want to spend the $ on the screen if it's the camera itself....also, when I have the am radio on, and put in reverse, there's alot of static...dont know if that means anything...thanks for any advice

    I think you are better off getting a new receiver with back up cam.
