    Hello!

Locally there is a guy selling the stock wheels and tires from his 2007 Tundra. The tires are no good but all I really am looking at is putting tires on them that are better for winter than the all seasons I have on my 20" wheels now (2019 LTD Crew). I am pretty sure these are 18" rims.

He said the wheels are in good shape, just need to be cleaned up. TPMS sensors are included (but I assume they are probably not working...he said they were last fall when he took them off).

    Questions:

    1. Will these work fine? It appears that they will.
    2. Will the TPMS sensors work with my truck?
    3. If not, and I get new ones... can a place like Discount Tire put in new ones so I can swap tires and the TPMS sensors in each set of wheels will work fine without reprogramming?
    4. Will I need new lugs for these wheels or will my existing ones work?

He's only asking $150... which also seems a little odd.. that seems very low. They've been for sale for a few weeks too. I just happen to run across them on Craigslist.

anything else I'm forgetting? Thanks! Heres a pic of them...

I was hoping someone else more knowledgeable would chime in, but I'll take a stab at it. I was actually planning on doing the exact same thing you are. I even found a set of 2007 rims and bought them.

    1. Will these work fine? It appears that they will. - Near as I can tell, these should bolt on just fine. Just make sure that the tires are the same size. I believe that the 'steelies' use a different size tire than the mags. I was actually waiting to put the new rims on mine until I bought new tires because of this.

    2. Will the TPMS sensors work with my truck? - I believe the 2019 TPMS sensors are different than the 2007. You'll need to buy 2019 sensors. fyi - by the time you buy 4 sensors + all the mounting stuff, you're looking at about $350 just for the TPMS stuff.

    3. If not, and I get new ones... can a place like Discount Tire put in new ones so I can swap tires and the TPMS sensors in each set of wheels will work fine without reprogramming? - I believe if you buy new (2019) sensors that any tire shop should be able to program them. Should probably check with the tire shop you're going to have do the work. They can probably buy sensors for as cheap or cheaper than you. Just make sure they get the 2019 sensors as I believe they're different from other years.

    4. Will I need new lugs for these wheels or will my existing ones work? - I'm not certain here. I would think the old lugs would work.

Hopefully someone else can chime in that knows for certain.

Like I said, I actually started down this path, but decided I didn't care enough to actually do it. So now I've got these 4 rims taking up space in my shed.

Anybody wants them, all 4 are yours for $100. Bare 2007 rims, no tpms. DM me.
