Hi guys , I have a 2007 Tundra 5.7 with just over 91K miles . Today I drove the truck about 20 minutes to an appointment , parked it for about 1/2 hr , then drove about 20 minutes back home , some stop and go but mostly highway . On the return trip , I noticed the blue ATF light on just a minute or 2 into the trip . I continued to drive slowly and in another minute or 2 the light went out - never came back on the rest of the way .

No symptoms or any other light , like the check engine light ever came on .

I know there's really no way to check the fluid , so any thoughts / ideas ??

    Thanks ,
    Paul B

Nothing yet except for some LED interior & exterior bulbs.
Has a black Chevy Suburban with blacked out windows been following you? Maybe the truck is just trying to warn you to protect your dog. LOL.

Change the transmission fluid since it's probably never been done and is nearly 20 year old fluid. Drain and flush, then keep doing it every other oil change.

Well, the manual says it's sealed unit. If no heavy or extreme towing, fluid doesn't need to be changed for lifetime of the vehicle.:D having said that, mine started acting up with washbiard vibrations around 35-40mph and rumblestrip before downshift, so i changed mine. It was also in late 90's, k miles
