2007 Tundra 5.7 P2446 Air system pump stuck on bank 2

Hi,

I have an 07 tundra 5.7 and it’s giving me a p2446 code. I installed a Hewitt technologies bypass kit two years ago because I had gotten a p2433 code but just yesterday I got a check engine light and now have p2446 code showing.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I’d call Hewitt. They do seem to monitor this this site from time to time.

 

Did you install the block off plates when you did the Hewitt Bypass kit? I didn’t do so when I installed mine about 4 years ago, and I didn’t take the time to do the block off plates. Fast forward 4 years later and I got a P2440 which created a harrowing 700 mile road trip home.

 

P2446 is a pressure sensor failure not installing the block off plates can cause this. Hewitt does sell a pigtail that you will fool the ECU to believe the pressure sensor in the valve is working
