Hi guys just bought a used truck ( 115,xxx miles) and Out of nowhere my CEL came on with a code P0018 (Crankshaft positon - Camshaft position correlation, Bank 2 Sensor A ). Truck as far as i can tell idles fine , no real loss in power, there was a weird stutter in the throttle once i dont know if that was just my foot causing it , but its gone now. I exposed the timing belt as its the original , and it looks good no glazing or cracking ( i do plan plan on changing it asap) . I suspected maybe it was oil flow to the VVTI so I pulled both Oil control valves and cleaned them out with MAF cleaner, re oiled them, I also checked with a multimeter and each is reading about 7-8 ohms, tied a power source to them and they move freely, and placed them back in. Does anyone have any idea what could be the culprit?
