2007 is the first year of the 2nd gen. No stepside bed option has been available on Tundras since 2007.

Can I adapt the 2006 step-side to fit a 2007 Tundra. The bed widths are only 1 or 2” difference in width and the bed is 6.5’ long

Sounds like a huge effort and expense. I doubt it will look like it belongs there once you get done. I can almost promise you that the body lines won't match.

Just get rock sliders with a kickout step. You'll have a step at the front of the bed and won't have to do any wiring or body work.
