2007 Stereo Question

I drive a 2007 limited with the jbl audio option. This comes with a built in amplifier that powers the speaker and the stock 8" sub behind the rear seats. I am now trying to upgrade and place a 12" sub behind the center console attached to a 600 watt amp. I know I will need a converter to change the stock audio cables into RCE to go into the amp but am quiet unsure which cable go where in the back of my stereo to attach to my converter. Has anyone done this that could help me out?
