Hi guys, and thanks for having me on here.
I have an American 2007 I picked up new in 2008 when we were bringing autos back across the border and our dollar was on par. I ordered this truck not knowing that it had 2 bucket seats, paddle shift console, enough torque to give me whip lash!!
I have 240,000 miles or 360,000 klms of this baby.
Well its time for a newer truck.
I am comparing wheel base lengths. I like the length of my truck for my buisness. I pull a portable sawmill and this short truck allows me into very tight locations. I like the space behind my seat but wish it had a seperate door. Also would be nice to have at least 3 seats if i go with a regular cab again.

I doubt that you will find anything with power, interior space and wheelbase you want, not unless you find another RCSB Tundra with the 40/20/40 seat.

Find yourself a nice 1st generation regular cab long bed with a 4.7L, the (128.3) wheel base is only about 2 inches longer that what you are accustomed to (126.8) and they come with a split bench seat.

Very nice truck, I need the pulling power of the 2nd generation. I also need space behind the seat for the dog and gear.

Shop for another 2nd gen RCSB with the 5.7, but keep this in mind, as long as you have taken care of it 240,000 miles is nothing. I purchased my 2007 RCSB when it had 270,000, it now has 293,000

You can swap over to a 40/20/40 bench seat, some have already done it or just the opposite.front-seats.jpg.jpg

Well my 3rd gen had what they call a Bench Seat when I bought it but in reality it is just Bucket Seats with a little Bench Seat Filler that bolts in between them.
Not exactly right for anything that I can tell?
Bad for a third person and really bad for the driver as an armrest when folded that way too?

My 1st gen Bench is just that,a Bench!
