ok everybody ... I have a cracked transfer line on the rack and pinion - tried JB weld to fix it but that did not work. I contacted my local Toyota dealer prior to trying this ...apparently they do not sell the replacement line anymore and I cannot find any cross reference part # - you have to replace the entire rack !!!
Has anyone else had this problem ?? my next step is a custom made line if I have to.

    HELP !!!!

On my first gen it rusted out. Not wanting to replace the whole thing I made up my own using steel brake line. I think it used a standard flare on the ends (like a brake line has) so it wasn't too difficult.
