I was looking at upgrading to the digital read out of the limited climate control, don't really want to go down the huge mod i've seen in some threads. I have a dual zone in my 2007 RCSB SR5 right now.
I didn't see this specific information in any of the threads I saw, but I was wondering if I could just plug in the new limited module and if I would just lose the auto function which I don't care much about? just like the look of the digital and knobs on the limited climate control

Or would it just not work at all. I figured the one I saw the only added function over what I have now is the auto function, which I don't need....

I would look through the wire diagrams, since you may need a module for the screen and temp readings. Assuming its a straight swap with added electronics. Toyodiy would also be a good reference guide on part numbers and needed equipment

@blackdemon_tt Ok I looked through the wire diagram for my 07, and that is daunting, I learned I don't know what the heck i'm doing in that regard. If someone doesn't know first hand I'll probably just bag that and run with the climate control i've got. I appreciate you pointing me in that direction though.
